A company dedicated to improving human health holds itself to a higher standard when it comes to the health of its own people. We partnered with the Almaty office of one of the world's leading Anglo-Swedish biopharmaceutical corporations — one whose medicines and treatments reach patients in more than 100 countries — to deliver a Herman Miller workplace that is as health-conscious, ergonomically rigorous, and purposefully designed as the organization itself.

Challenge

Design a health-first office environment for a scientifically minded, detail-oriented workforce — where medical affairs, regulatory, and commercial teams spend long hours at their desks requiring exceptional ergonomic support, and where structured collaboration between disciplines is a daily operational and scientific necessity.

Solution

Sayl and Zeph ergonomic task chairs across all 120 workstations — selected for their industry-leading postural support during extended seated work, directly reflecting the corporation's own commitment to the health and well-being of its people.

Result

A purpose-built, health-first Herman Miller workplace where ergonomic philosophy and pharmaceutical mission reinforce each other across 1,500 m² — delivering exceptional employee satisfaction, zero ergonomic complaints, and a physical environment that genuinely reflects the values of a corporation whose business is improving human lives.
